Two New Videos!

2021-12-02
On: December 2, 2021

We’ve added two new videos since our last blog update, and we think that they’re both a lot of fun. In the first video we invite you along on our visit to St. Augustine. St. Augustine is the oldest city in Florida, and full of beautiful things to see and fascinating things to do. We only had a couple of days to camp at Anastasia State Park, but we managed to enjoy the beach, a tour on the Old Town Trolly, and a visit to the St. Augustine Light House and museum. We definitely want to go back again when we have the opportunity! InRead More →

Kathy Learns to Drive the RV!

2020-04-11
On: April 11, 2020

I (Kathy) was happy being the navigator while Jeff drove our 37-foot Class A coach, fondly named Windy. On the other hand, Jeff happy being the sole driver? Not so much. The first time I drove Windy was three years ago. I’d had a lesson from a guy who it turned out had no idea that I needed to learn how to back into a campsite, maneuver around low branches, and drive on both interstates and narrow back roads. But at least I’d had a lesson. So on a rather deserted divided highway in rural Texas, I agreed that it was time for me toRead More →

Four Desert Dreams and a Nightmare

2019-12-07
On: December 7, 2019

Enjoy some silliness and beauty, and go face-to-face with a nuclear nightmare, as we visit White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, and the Titan Missile Museum, Tucson, Omar’s Highway Chef at the TTT Truck stop, and the Saguaro National Park in Arizona. It looks like mountains of white snow, as far as the eyes can see. Except that the temperature is almost 90 degrees! These white sands are actually gypsum that has eroded over thousands of years fromRead More →
